505	2		_aAbstract: In this course, we review some recent results about the control of certain dispersive equations for water waves (KdV, Boussinesq, BBM, BO), and NLS, both in a periodic setting or with more general boundary conditions. We shall relate the control properties of these equations to some issues arising in the investigation of the free evolution (e.g. the UCP, the smoothing effect, the exponential stability, etc.) and will propose a list of open questions.
