Symplectic geometry is a well-established area that has experienced recent development internationally. In Brazil, it is an emerging area, which has undergone remarkable progress and expansion in recent years. The goal of this thematic semester is to contribute to the development of symplectic geometry in Brazil by encouraging the collaboration of Brazil-based and international researchers, as well as the training of masters and doctoral students.
